If you have ever spent a lot of time watching Bravo or TLC, there is a huge audience for wedding shows. Shows about the dress, shows about the cake…and shows about brides behaving badly. So when Jonathan called and said that he wanted to propose to his girlfriend, and that the proposal was to be disguised as a reality TV show, well…we couldn’t resist.
We showed up at The White Dress in Coronal del Mar on Saturday morning. Carrie met us and showed us where to set up our gear, and we proceeded to walk around, shooting the dresses and bling, waiting for the couple to arrive. John had enlisted Bianca, his girlfriend’s BFF, to schedule a fake dress fitting. The goal was to get his girlfriend Jennifer into a dress, and he would propose in front of the whole store.
Jennifer was having a lot of fun looking at the dresses, but it was really supposed to be Bianca’s day…right? In the end, they got her into a dress, and you can see the rest here. Congratulations to Jonathan and Jennifer! We had so much fun playing the part!

Heather Hoesch - Oh my gosh!! super cute, great video!
Jennifer - Thank you so much for recording my special day for me and Jonathan on Saturday. I am SO lucky to have a wonderful man who thought up all the details and went through alot of trouble to make me happy. If it weren’t for your enthusiasm to be part of his idea, he would have had to go through MORE trouble to find someone else to record it all!
Thank you again for your beautiful videography. I will cherish this video forever and forever, and will show it to my children and grandchildren, and their children’s children!
Fondly,
Jennifer Tsoi
